Ok,
just bought some Kodak Series VI filters for my Graflex 3x4 Series B camera (which I await with childlike anticipation), I thought they would be threaded, they are not. I have trawled the net, etc. it seems they are drop-in filters. What size adapter/filter holder do I need to mount these filters on my Graflex? Any help gratefully received, and yes Tim in San Jose I would love some 3x4 plates!!!

There is a Series VI filter holder which you press on to your lens. It fits around the outside of it.

You will have to measure the outside diameter of the lens and then find a slip-on holder in that size. If the lens is threaded, then you might be able to find a screw-on holder.

You will need the holder and the retaining ring. There are hoods available that take the place of the retaining ring.

Harry,
when you figure out what size slip on adapter you need, drop me a PM or email. I have a bunch of old series VI stuff that I'll never use again. If there's something in my stash that you can use...well, I'll let you have it really cheap - if you want.

Brad.
