Kodak safelight filter help

Does anyone have any data for Kodak OB and 10H safe-light filters, I have both which came with Kodak Beehive safe-lights. I've no references to them in my many Kodak publications and there's nothing online (except ebay sales).

Everything I can find shows pretty much the same information that Rick's link does. No OB at all and 10 without the "H" suffix.
Maybe these are for X-ray or Graphic Arts applications?

You're wrong However you made me think as I've 4 Kodak (Ltd) Professional catalogues, one is a Dealer only catalogue and has the dealer prices as well as the Retail prices. I realised they had some Graphic arts items in them In the 1960 Catalogue the OB and 10H are both listed.

The OB is Lime Yellow and for Slow Contact materials, Bromesko and Bromide etc - so it's in between the 0A and OC (902) - now I have OA, OB and OC filters and 3 Beehive lamps

The 10H is Dark Amber for use handling Kodak "Ektacolor" paper, it may be more specific to the paper than the 10.

It may well be these two weren't sold in the US/Canada, we had items made here never seen in the US like Kodak HDD a liquid High Definition Developer, D163, a Half plate camera etc.

There were other Kodak Wratten safe-light filters I've never seen listed elsewhere.

6BR Light brown Indirect for X-ray films

9 Blue green For Infra-red plates

12 Light green For development of “Kodalith” Pan materials by inspection


So that's 5 not listed anywhere in Eastman Kodak publications.

I am always eager for more education Ian. I was looking in my early 70's darkroom data guide, + some publications from the 40's and older.
The only price list I have is for chemistry and it's from 1934

The Wratten list is a lot bigger than the publication dedicated to common darkroom filters, which I am looking at right at the moment, T10845,
dated 10/99. Unfortunately, I only have the full Wratten catalog at home, not here.
