Kodak roll paper

Well with that last thread about Fuji papers im allmost afraid to ask but, im getting better at cutting roll paper so i want to try some Kodak paper.
When i looked at B&H all i could find is Ektacolor Edge generations and Ektacolor Royal generations.Also one size for Pro Endura Premier paper.
The Edge and the Royal look to be the same price.Whats the difference? I would have liked to try that Ultra Endura high definition paper but i think its
discontinued already..John

Try Unique Photo, they are located in Fairfield, NJ. http://www.uniquephoto.com I have had better luck on selection and price with them. They will also ship chemistry which B&H does not. There is also an outfit in Rochester, NY (I cannot think of their name at the moment but others here will know) that I have bought from with good results. Unique lists a few types of Endura roll paper.

The difference between Ektacolor Edge and Royal is the paper weight. Royal is about twice as heavy as Edge and more like the base of the boxed Endura that I have. Edge and Royal are supposed to be the same emulsion.

I have both Royal and Edge papers. For a "consumer" paper they are both quite nice. Their colors are bright but not in the way that I find Crystal Archive to be almost over-saturated. To me, they are both nice but the Kodak has a more "natural" look.

PDI Supply (pdisupply.com) is in Rochester.

I've bought rolls of Kodak paper from PDI Supply before. It's a good outfit to deal with. They stock everything.
