Sulphuric acid (conc) 50ml
Water to 1 litre

But I do not know where I can get to these chemicals

Potassium Dichromate
Sulphuric acid (conc)

Thank you

Ninos..

where are you located/living? ? ?

You can add this info to your screen name/avatar and it will show on all your posts.
It will greatly help in more ways than just this thread

Welcome Ninos on APUG.
You should check the recipe for bleaching.
I use 9.5 g of potassium dichromate and 12 ml of concentrated sulfuric acid per liter.
Sulfuric acid can use for the car - about three times more than the amount of concentrated sulfuric acid.
Potassium dichromate is a common substance in a chemistry lab – oxidizer mixture - used for washing of laboratory glassware.

My problem is where I can get it
Thank you for your interest

Ninos, you could place this issue in the dutch-language section.

In the US you can find the con Sulfuric Acid in some auto parts stores.
Don't know about in The Netherlands.

If you do source it make sure the concentration matches your formula.

Good luck, it took me awhile to find it and I'm using Potassium Permanganate instead of the Dichromate.

As brucemuir already hinted at, aside of possible restrictions on the sale of Potassium Dichromate, one should avoid that substance where a substite is feasable.

But I think the Sulfuric acid concentration of 36%Which is placed in the car battery
But the bleaching solution needs to be ulfuric acid concentration of 98%

As the concentrated acid will be dramatically dissolved in that formula , you can of course use a lower concentrated acid to begin with and adjust by its volume.

In this case it would even work without reducing the initial amout of water the whole formula starts with.

If you use the Permanganate bleach you can skip the sulfuric acid all together and use sodium bisulfate.

This is what I did until I found some sulfuric acid at the auto parts store.

You do not have to use sulfuric acid which is hard to purchase for some people. You can use sodium hydrogen sulfate. The conversion factor should be in the APUG archives or you can calculate it. In the US sodium hydrogen sulfate is sold in pool supply stores to lower the water pH.
