I want to replace the front leatherette of a Kodak Retina. The back cover is fine, bottom also.
The front has simple shape that you can cut/cut well. So don't want to buy a pre-cut set but just piece of leatherette and cut it myself.
Well the original is barely 0.5 mm thick. The leatherette I buy at microtool is 0.7 mm or 1.0 mm thick.
Will this thickness cause problems? I prefer to buy at Microtools because it is located in the EU and I will have it delivered within a reasonable time. So please no tips that someone in Japan sells thinner leather (which I can then wait 2 months for)

And what do you guys think about leatherette versus real leather ? Thanks for answers !

Thanks! Good address and better thicknesses. And very affordable shipping costs. I am going to place an order by this company
