I am selling a Retina IIIS rangefinder body in very good condition. Everything on this camera works well and correctly as far as I can tell. The rangefinder vertical alignment is slightly off however, but not enough to impact focusing at all IMO. The shutter fires correctly at all speeds, and the finder is clear. The mechanical motions are smooth and precise. The rangefinder patch is also quite bright. This camera has apparently seen very little use. The light meter is even working and accurate! The passive light meters on Retina IIIS's were some of the finest made (incident light attachments are even available)
Some of the photos show the camera modeled with my Schneider Curtagon 35mm F2.8 lens mounted, which is not included, but gives you an example of one of the high quality lenses out there for the IIIS, most of which are very reasonably priced (DKL mount Retina lenses). This is a German-made interchangeable lens rangefinder camera of very high build quality. Please see Steve Gandy's nice review on CameraQuest if you are not familiar with the remarkable Retina IIIS and its many features.
