I was cruising the Kodak web site, discovered this & thought I would pass on to you:

http://www.kodak.com:80/global/en/professional/products/blackWhiteIndex.jhtml?pq-path=13319/1231

Here is a snippet of info from the rebate form:

To redeem this offer:
• Purchase five single rolls or a five-roll pro-pack of KODAK PROFESSIONAL
T-MAX 100, PLUS-X 125, TRI-X 400, T-MAX 400 or T-MAX P3200 Film
between 2/15/09 and 12/31/09.

5 rolls of 120 is reasonable and with the rebate this makes it a good deal.

Thought you might be interested.

I have known about this rebates for months and I finally bought five 120 Plus-X rolls last week. I sent the rebate in a few days ago.

Sounds like me! I'm getting around to it just before the rebate expires. Thought it could help some other folks here.

Happy Holidays!

Kodak film is always a good deal ;-)

Ps. I am looking to borrow a couple of "households" to get additional rebates for tons of boxes that I bought this year.

Too bad you can only do the rebate once. I did it. The rebate check was neat. I felt like I worked for Kodak because it was printed like a paycheck. Hopefully this may get a couple of people to pick up film.

They could have made it available for Canada too. We get no gifts from Kodak because we don’t live in the US, and the same from Ilford because we don’t live in UK.
Oh, Canada…

Oddly enough the picture displays TXP (Tri-X 320) but doesn't include it in the text of the offer.

I just happened to buy a 5-pack roll of TXP, but it appears it is not included in the rebate offer

I just sent in my TMX bar code but I use mostly TXP - This has to be a mistake and was unintentional - why could they possibly want to single out TXP. I was curious about it as well.

Ps. I did not get my check yet and I am hoping that they take the printed copy of my email receipt.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to dig up that receipt!

Just hope the "rebate denial center" they are using honors it. My Ektar 100 rebate bounced the first time. I sent it back with a very nasty letter, asking for my rebate, plus another 41 cents to pay for my postage the second time, and I eventually got a check, but not including the 41 cents for postage.

The rebate processing industry is really slimy!

I called Kodak's promotions customer service line just now (the phone number cited on the rebate form) and asked them if TXP was eligible for the rebate.

Their official word?

They do not know and it will take 7-10 business days to research it.

I think that pretty much speaks for itself.

I've been shooting Ilford films and sue Ilford DDX for development. Will this developer work well with these Kodak films?

Sorry Ilford, the "sue" is supposed to be "use"!!

Well to avoid any problems with "rebate eligibility" - I went out and purchased a 5 pack roll of Plus-X in 120 - a film that I have never tried.

A satsifactory answer to the question, agreed?
