I've tried to search, but I'm sure I saw someone say that you can use the Kodak RA4 chemistry at room temperature - if this is the case does anyone have any development times for this? - I've looked at Kodak's website but can't find anything.
woops. I use developer replenisher with starter to make the tank solution. I use that in trays at whatever temperature my laundry room happens to be at. The development is fairly rapid. 2-3 minutes is the recommended time but I get results with less. Blix time is something like 4 minutes and then the usual RC paper wash of 2-5 minutes.
I use the Kodak 10 liter dev/rep and blix kits without the starter solution, 2 min in the dev and 2 in the blix. I get very consistent results at 20-21.5C, using one shot in drums. No noticeable colour shift even when the same neg is printed 10 weeks apart in the same batch mix of working solutions.
