Hello.

I've mixed few days ago Polymax fixer to 1+3 solution and close with no air in glass bottles. Kept in dark in about 21 C degrees. Today I saw that on the bottom is precipitated white fluid, and all the rest is quiet transparent . When I shaked bottle all was very easy mixed...

I never used polymax before, so question is : is it OK ?

Thank you for any help !

Just test it with a strip of exposed film and see if it's good. It can keep for a week diluted like that.

From description on bottle : working solution in full bottle - 6 month's...

product catalog number is CAT 521 1388

I've used quite old diluted Polymax fixer with that precipitate and have noticed no problems, even on prints fixed years ago. Perhaps someone with expert knowledge can provide better information.

Thank's Jim Jones ! It seems to me, that maybe normal "behavior" of that fixer ... I hope
