Kodak logo/graphic?

Trying to identify this logo/graphic I found on a 16mm color reel. I'm wondering if this is an old Ektachrome logo ..It's quite abstract, at least for Kodak.

That's just "Eastman Kodak Corporation" (EKC) turned into a logo. Pre-1930 according to this article I found with a quick google search:

I found it interesting because inside it was color 16mm film which I don't believe existed back then, at least for an amateur. Naturally it could have been placed in some other container but the logo looks very Art Deco to me...
