I answered an add on the local Kijiji site here in Fredericton,N.B. The picture showed an old Jiffy that had been modified with a viewfinder from a Kodak Monitor.Spiked my interest so I met with the seller.
Kodak made a ton of these cameras so finding one was no big deal, but the history behind this particular one prompted me to buy it.The modification was a viewfinder from a Kodak Monitor.This enabled Vic (origional owner) to photograph passing ships while aboard a Canadian Corvette doing escort duties from Halifax to England during WWII.I saw photos of the owner with said camera and photos to boot.
Makes this Jiffy one special camera.
