I want to try the kodak IR film. What ISO and developing do you suggest? How to meter light? With the 89B filter or without?
thanks!

I rate it at ISO400, meter through the filter and bracket one stop either side.

Unfortunately, the kodak film has been discontinued, unless you have a stock of it, or have a source you'll have to try one of the newer alternatives. Rollei, and Efke both make an IR film now. Digitaltruth.com has a good comparison of the two.

If you can get ahold of it, lemme know! HIE has been MIA everywhere I look. I used to rate it at 400 but the negs came out too dense. Up until the cancellation of the stuff, I would shoot it at 50 ISO and then develop stock for 8 1/2 minutes. Efke IR820 is probally the most similar, but it has to be used with a 72+ filter. I just ran out of my stock of HIE, so I am looking into the Efke w/ a #87 filter.

i have found some rolls of kodak, but from 50 to 400 iso are 3 stops..... Sure that is 50 ISO the right speed? For developing i have some HC110 or Ornano ST20 or D76. What do you suggest to use?
Thanks
