Kodak HT-2 - shelf life?

Is there any reason to think this can't be kept indefinitely in a working solution?


Kodak HT-2 Hypo Test Solution

Water 750.0 ml
Acetic Acid, 28% 125.0 ml
Silver Nitrate 7.5 grams
Water to make 1.0 liter

If not, how long before it can no longer be trusted?

That's good news. I'm hopeful to get that long out of it in my photo-grade plastic bottle.

When it gets old, how do you know if it's good/usable?

Well, it leaves a stain even if it works. I suppose you could test it by using it on an unwashed print?
