Well, recently I did surprise a guest at our house when I served him a G&T in one of those glasses. I quickly reassured him that it was not a repurposed chemical container, and all was well. Although I have a couple of old Kodak-branded glass beakers in kitchen use... I found those NOS in the original boxes at a garage sale.

For the record, Kodak supplied developers (usually in quantities to make one gallon) in cans until the mid-1970s. Some liquid products came in brown glass bottles until around the same time. (That was at the very beginning of my photography involvement.) Obviously Kodak decided that there were cheaper, lighter containers that served as well, and that containers that kept the chemistry good *forever* were pointless for things that were meant to be used up immediately.
