I just came across two unopened boxes of Kodak Gravure Positive Film. What was this used for? The boxes are 50 sheets each and the film is 10"x12".

In the book The Keepers of Light the author rerecommendshe use of Kodak Garvure film to make positives. It mentions that its available from dealers who have a Kodak Graphic Arts franchise. This is more than likely a film long gone into extinction.
It may work but I bet it will have a high base fog.
