A customer left a roll of exposed Kodak Gold 400-36 in his pants pocket. The pants went through the regular wash (with bleach!) and spin dry cycle and then straight into the gas dryer on low heat. The customer explained that the shots were important...some neighbors of his at a party, etc., etc.

I sent the film to Kodak/Qualex for processing with a note and just got it back today, after one week's time. Astounding! The photos are not bad. Somewhat lacking in sharpness and contrast, but certainly acceptable. My guess is that the Kodak cassette is almost watertight when a roll of 36 is wound up inside. Any other explanations?
