kodak eastman 5369 HCP development?

I pick up an expired 100 roll of this film off eBay. I was wondering if anyone has any has used this film and has any insight on development of this film.
I'll be using sprint to develope the film. So their chart will be a big help. But I want to see what others have done with This film.

film has been tested by the seller and expired in late 80s or early 90s.

With cine film it is more desirable to filter reused liquid as or before you pour it back into stock bottle, than with stills film. It is still desirable with stills film BTW.

Can't help more I only used HP5+ and 5222, got some FSU somewhere as well.

I do also have 2369 (which is absolutely the same film but on an Estar base) and here are some sample shots from that:

I'd have to consult my notes but I am pretty sure I developed it the same way I mentioned for SO-331. I'm guessing D-76 would give similar results. I've not yet done any testing to try to reduce contrast. I got off on a 5222 tangent and that's soooooo much more usable a film (I shoot it at 400) that I haven't gotten back to all the weird ones yet.

I got an idea for what times to start with now.
going to be developoing it in sprint standard (1:9) for 10-10:30 minutes and go from there.

I'll be most likely be shooting the film at ISO 25. Double X would of been nicer to have but I couldn't find any bulk rolls in my price range.

It is as easy to buy a 400 or 1000 foot can and respool it to 100 foot reels for a daylight loader. I only have a medium sized changing bag.

I know but I'm a sucker for weird/odd types of film.


I just developed my first roll of this film. Developed it in sprint standard for 10 mins @68.0°F. Fixed with ilford rapid fixer for 6mins. I'll be putting up scans once the roll is dry.
