The prices on these (in Australia where -any- chemicals are hard to come by and must be mail ordered interstate) seem pretty damn good for the quantity you're getting

$40 for 5 Litres of bleach ($28 US)
$20 for the Fixer & Relpenisher (10 L) ($13.60 US)

Just wanting to make sure here.. Agfa 70 BL can just be used as a typical bleach for C41 and E6?

Same question for the Kodak stuff.. it's just a typical ammonium thiosulphate fixer right?

Agfa AP70 is comparable to genuine Kodak C-41 process, as well the Fuji cn16 process is comparable (slight differences due patents of proprietary /protected formulation are present…)
3:15 minCD at 100°F, 4:20 min. bleach, 4:20min fix etc…

Bleach working solution is reached by diluting Agfa AP70 BL 1:1 with water, but as common there are some different versions for different replenishment rates…

So, that “straight” AP70 BL Bleach should work perfect for you, BL-R will need a small amount of starter to correct the pH.
This will be also true for AP71 and AP72 minilab processes

The Kodak E6 Fixer /Fix-replenisher should work excellent for C-41, no starter required …

Stefan

Ah thanks, I always got confused at vanbar's site between the starter and replenishers.. and the fact they make no mention of quantities of most of them, so thats the difference
