I loaded for first time my Duaflex IV with a 120 Ilford Delta100. I am taking pictures with it and it seems really fun, but I am up to number 11 in the little red window. Does anyone knows how many exposures do I have?

Is anyone into this camera, if so, any idea of the lens aperture and or speed. I own the one with the Kodet Lens. It's got to be between f/11 and f/16, I am assuming. Camera comes with only two settings, Instant exposure and Long exposure, if I find out what the Instant exposure aperture is I can then put it in Long and take pictures at night, fun staff !

It's 6x6, so you should get 12 exposures.

Did you have to do anything to get the 120 spool to fit? I gather these were actually 620 cameras, but some 620 cameras will take 120 and some won't.

The material I'm finding online suggests that the lens is probably f/11 and the shutter 1/100, which would be roughly typical for these control-free cameras, but I can't vouch for its accuracy. A stop one way or the other shouldn't matter too much in this context anyway---it's not like you're going to be doing precision Zone System exposures or anything.

I find there's something really fun about these hyper-simplistic cameras. They force you to get your head out of the mechanics and concentrate on the important stuff like light and composition, for one thing.

Hi -- Did you respool or modify the 120 spool? I have a Duaflex II and I thinned out the ends of my 120 spools to load. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

It came with a 620 metal spool, then I trim the circle as much as I could from the Delta100 diameter and did the trick, I agree with the fun, the viewfinder is big enough to frame, the film is going to the lab today, can't wait to see what's coming out!

I'm not familiar with the IV, But the Duaflex II has zone focusing from 3.5 feet to infinity. It also has three aperture settings marked 8 for hazy sun, 11 for bright sun, and 16 for bright sun on snow or sand. It also has a recockable shutter as well as autoshutter cocking with film advance. The view finder is brighter than my Yashica D which I really love! This was by far the best one dollar I've ever spent. Good shooting and let us see how your shots turned out.

My IV has no focusing at all or aperture settings, kind of weird if you think IV should be better than II, but it just comes with a Instant click and a Long exposure where the finger needs to be pushed in during the whole time, I think is like a Bulb setting? Photos are back from the lab, I am going to scan them tonight with my V500, so far I see 12 out of 12 on the negs!
