It's the first consumer digital camera by Kodak.

It's 3.5mm to Serial (The commonly called RS232 or DB9 connector)

On the serial side its probably pin 2-3-5, but its more about what the 3.5mm side should be hooked up as.

I've bought Tip pin 2, Ring pin 3, and Sleeve pin 5, as well as one that has 2 and 3 swapped from this config.
I'll test to see if either of these work, when these generic cables arrive, but to potentially save myself some time, is anyone familiar with the pinout for this cameras connector?

I agree.
I'd just try all the permutations; if you jerry-rig something on a solderless breadboard, it'll be a fairly quick process.
It was serial pin 2 to 3.5mm tip, serial pin 3 to ring, serial pin 5 to ground

Had to get the old software on archive.org and spin up a windows 3.1 VM, but it does work, I'll leave this info here for future reference, there doesnt seem to be any source online.

Not a bad performer for 1996, I can imagine having this for a small business or real estate would have been invaluable in the mid 90s!

That's brilliant! Thanks for reporting back - not just with the pinout, but also example pics. They're lovely! Just as you said - quite impressive for 1996!

The first camera I owned was a Sony Digital Mavica in 1999, it cost something like $1000 at the time, if I recall correctly that 96 Kodak would have cost several times more so no surprise that almost everyone was still shooting film
