Kodak Coloplus technical data

I searched online and look on the Alaris website but I couldn't find the technical data for the Colorplus film. Is it the same as the Gold 200?

I ran into the same problem, it is not gold, it was developed for underdeveloped countries with warm climates to be stored without refrigeration. I could not find a Kodak data sheet, when I had in process and printed on a minilab at 000 0 it was to my eyes a bit on the yellow side.

No its not the same at gold 200 but shares some ancestry. it was originally kodacolor 200 (VR) the film generation before, VR-G/Gold v1, and was retained as a low cost film, typically as a ‘free film with prints‘. It became color plus in early 2000s on the box and emulsion likely updated. See;

Pro image 100 was the lower cost film for hot countries, originally sold as profoto 100. It is a gold based film, of a more recent generation (v6 based on dates), but with more neutral colors.

+1 to what @Arcadia4 says

Color Plus is widely believed to be Kodacolor VR, same as @Arcadia4 says. As such the colours are less saturated and more towards the neutral than Gold. I prefer Color Plus for this reason. There has never been a data sheet published for Color Plus, and if you believe some around here that means Kodak is a nasty, evil company trying to hide something. Or some other guff. Maybe that only applies to Film Ferrania having the temerity to keep data sheets from people.

I got the 2 rolls of ColoPlus and when I opened it the cassette said Kodacolor 200. There is no Colorplus on the cassette.

I don't think anyone has ever reported a cassette with "ColorPlus" printed on it. It's used the older "Kodacolor" moniker on the cassette for as long as it's been called Color Plus on the box.

Color Plus certainly acts very much like 1990s Kodacolor VR.
