No its not the same at gold 200 but shares some ancestry. it was originally kodacolor 200 (VR) the film generation before, VR-G/Gold v1, and was retained as a low cost film, typically as a ‘free film with prints‘. It became color plus in early 2000s on the box and emulsion likely updated. See;

Pro image 100 was the lower cost film for hot countries, originally sold as profoto 100. It is a gold based film, of a more recent generation (v6 based on dates), but with more neutral colors.
