Kodak C-41 Flexicolor Developer LORR Starter Available at Unique Photo

Kodak C-41 Flexicolor Developer Replenisher LORR has twice the potency than non LORR version. So it is much more economical and is more desired at least to myself when buying Kodak C-41 developer replenisher for making C-41 working developer. However, the LORR starter has been unavailable or priced much higher from unfamiliar shops for years. I still have a bottle of it but it won't last too long. I had worried that it might have been discontinued by Kodak.

I decided to go on to Unique Photo's web site and submitted a request to receive a notification if they eventually have it in stock. Honestly I did not have much hope they will do anything. I did not say how many bottles I want. It took less than a week then I received an email telling me they have it in stock. Apparently they saw my request and ordered it. I quickly purchased 3 bottles. They still have it in stock. So grab it if you use it before it is out of stock again. Price was great and the shipping was perfect too.

A Lab might not have a need for a lot starter, as it is only used when starting a brand new bath - generally after the old one gets out of control.

Yes, I can also confirm they recently reloaded Flexicolor chems, sometime between two weekends ago and last weekend. In general, that's the general pattern with them, though more frequently going out, with more and more people developing.

Most people probably already know but for beginners the Kodak C-41 Flexicolor Developer Replenisher LORR 5L sold at Unique Photo at $12.75 will make 6.55 liter of working developer after adding LORR starter and water. Each liter of this developer only needs 30 ml of LORR starter. So a bottle of the starter will last a long long time. I think this is the best choice of a developer for most DIYers processing at home. I am not associated with Unique Photo in any way.
