DESCRIPTION: Purchased from an estate…Vintage Kodak Aero Ektar 2.5 7 In. 178mm 5x5 Lens & Mount. ID marking, hand engraved on side EM1273. As shown.
CONDITION: Some finish and age wear of exterior. Glass is clear with some light soiling on exterior and interior which I‘m sure can be cleaned up. There are some light scratches on both elements and a larger mark on the rear element as seen in the photo. Aperture has a tiny amount of oil, but is working fine. Note that the original front ring, which also was a shade, is broken. It still screws onto the lens and maybe can be repaired. I see nothing about this lens that would prevent making good images.
