Anyone remember this stuff? Or is it a fig newton of my amalgamation?

Odd size, 8 1/2" X 11" sort of a matte, semi-matte surface.
Very light weight and could be folded without cracking the emulsion.

Yup, I remember it. I would use it to incorporated photos in reports when I was in grad school.

Your flay with words, no doubt thought up in the slur of the moment, shows that perhaps you are not well. I ain't either. I hardly remember Kodak. Is it a kind of bear? Bear with me.

I remember the stuff, pretty sure I went through a package or two, but don't know where any of those prints might be.

John, it was called "Kodak Ad-Type Paper A". It was light weight and could be folded without cracking. Howard Tanger

Sure would like to find some, but it's all probably been mailed to someone else and if any popped up I suspect
I couldn't afford it.

I'm thinking it would be nice to use it in a pinhole.

I too have that Kodak Dataguide with the sample of A type paper. Here in Australia, many of those beautiful Kodak papers were sadly not readily available (except to special order and a long lead time) but I can recall using a similar paper in the early 1970s and I think it came from Ilford. The range of paper weights and surfaces from both Ilford and Agfa was much greater down here than Kodak's offering. One of my favourites from that era was Agfa Portriga 118e. OzJohn

Last I had of this paper was a 50 sheet box of Kodabromide A-2, 8 1/2" x 11", document weight. Bought it to try to make a type of paper negative using a negative in the enlarger. Also liked the fact that I could type on it. It is either buried in the darkroom or it was lent to another photographer and never got it back.........Regards!
