Has anyone tried this film/dev combo (Kodak tech data PDF)? I picked up three rolls from Ultrafine and recently shot one, so I'm just looking to see if anyone has done this. I also have Dektol if that's better than Adonal. I was just thinking that a less "hot" developer might not go so crazy on the contrast.
So... yeah. I rated it at ISO 4 on a sunny day. Either way, I'll post back with results in case anyone comes across this in the future.
FWIW, I found (there was a url link here which no longer exists) by Michel Hardy-Vallée from a few years ago. I'm going to start from his suggestion and go from there. Found this of course after I'd given up and mixed up some Dektol... good thing that stuff's cheap.
The OP is a bit vague as to the film's intended purpose, pictorial or special effects. Since he says he has shot one roll I assume that he intends it for pictorial use as a negative. For this purpose he will need a low contrast developer not a paper developer or D-97.
Ah yes, sorry if I wasn't clear. I shot it in camera with an aim towards a pictorial usage.
I wound up using Adonal 1:100, 12 minutes with 5 seconds agitation every minute. the negatives are a bit thin, so I'll probably give the next roll a few extra minutes. I also noticed that the whole roll is fogged, so I'll have to look at whether that happened in camera (most likey, as it's an old camera that could use a little TLC), or if it was from when I loaded it.
I'll reply with a scan later this week if anything looks worth sharing.
