I live in western Illinois, Rock Island/Moline area. The local CVS pharmacy marked down their Kodak 400UC 36 exp. 3 packs and Kodak B/W 400CN 24 exp. 3 packs for 50% off. So they are now $7 and $5 respectively. I picked 3 packs of the 400 UC, and mine were dated 11/2008.

I'd be more excited if I still shot 35mm.

I live in the far eastern part of the San Francisco Bay Area (California) and one of our drugstore chains, Longs Drugs, also has Kodak UC400 35exp rolls on sale at $7.00 for a 3-roll box with an expiration date of 4/2008. The best price I've found anywhere else was $4.89, plus shipping, so this is a steal! I bought several boxes--all they had at my local store in Brentwood (the City in Contra Costa County, not the LA District).

So if you're in California, Oregon, Washington or Colorado, check it out. The sale ends soon. The clerk told me that they are clearing it all out. ???!!!

After blowing off this thread, it dawned on me that I should get off my duff and see if I could get 400 UC [insert big DUH here]. The CVS had 23 boxes of three rolls for $13.79. I asked if they were on sale. When they scanned a box it came up as $7.59 a box. I asked the manager if I took all of them, would he sell them for $6.00 a box. He said yes. :D

I am one happy camper with 3*23 => 69 rolls of UC 400 36 exposures with an expiration date of 8/2008. That is a little over a year's supply of 35 mm film for me.

Thanks, but next time please hit me over the head with a baseball bat to get my attention sooner.

When my wife got home she was wondering why I bought more film, I told her it was on sale!!!!! I will go back again soon. I think it has been on the shelf for awhile cause it had alot of dust on it. Now if they would only discount the Ektachrome 200.

Eddie,

If you live near a Target check it out. On Saturday I picked up a "four pack plus" of Fuji Superia 400 for $7.77. Included 4 rolls of 24exp. plus a "bonus" roll of 36exp.!

Yes, that is good deal, since they include a coupon in the box for .50 to a dollar off your next purchase. Walmart has it for around 7 a box too.
