This has been all over YouTube and I imagine other forums for a couple of days as a leak, but today I got an email from freestyle making it official. Kodak has brought the Kodacolor Brand back, and somehow it doesn't seem to be associated with Alaris. The brand is registered by Eastman Kodak, and the film appears to be being sold by Eastman Kodak. Current speculation is that the 200 speed film is what we knew as color plus, though the 100 speed film is a bit more interesting. It might be ProImage, but it could also be the 100 speed film that they were making for Lomo.

Kinda wondering how EK is getting around their contract with Alaris with this one. Also kinda surprised it hasn't been mentioned in this forum until now.

A step in the right direction by Kodak now will they go one step further and reintroduce their own paper. It is miles better than Fuji that I have been forced to use for a few years. The reintroduction of Kodak C41 developer (I don't know if it is from the same company but is badged Kodak) I am on my ist kit and the results are better than one of the independents (Jobo) where there is one of the chemicals wet off after less than 2 weeks after opening.

The Kodak has been opened and partly used for around 3 months and there is no change in the colour of any of the chems. What is a bit off putting is the bleach is actually almost lemon yellow where all the others I have used have been dark brown to burgundy colour. Any way it works so no problem
