With all this talk about Kodachrome I got to thinking about whether Dwayne's could process KR 64 that I slit down to use in my Minox B. If I sent it to them in light tight canisters (not the cassettes as I reuse them) do you think Its possible for them to run it on their super 8 line? Home slit film is usually normally 9.2 mm.
For an extra fee including processing, or just the regular price of developing a super 8 cassette. do you think they could do it?

The thought of viewing chromes from a minox with a hand held viewer just has me giddy.:D

Best phone or email Dwaynes.

I'd be interested to know too, as I occasionally like to bring out my Minox C for an airing.

But my guess would be probably not, as 8mm film will be slit to very accurate tolerances, and also the perforations may be necessary for transport thru the processing line.

I've seen pictures of the line, and it looks like a movie processing line that uses the sprockets.

If it were dip and dunk, they would be able to do 120, but since they can't do that, I doubt they can do Minox film.

I know for a fact that Dwayne's can process 110 K-64 and Super 8 K-40, So I assume that Dwayne's can process it, it's a matter of whether they will for a reasonable price.

The answer is obviously "Check with Dwaynes," but Kodachrome used to be processed in long rolls on automatic machines. (Individual rolls are spliced together in a roll up to a thousand feet long.) These machines depend on standard sizes and formats.
