Kodachrome newbie looking for info.

Hi all. I just received my first two rolls of PKR64. I'm assuming the 64 refers to ASA. My Yashica has 100 and 50 but no 64. I've been told by others in a different forum that Kodachrome has no sense of humor for exposure errors, so I'm wondering if there are any formulas or tips for justifying my light meter readings at ASA 50 to the slightly faster 64 of the PKR?

Does your Yashica have two small dots or marks in between the 50 and the 100? If so, they indicate ISO 64 and ISO 80.

ISO 64 is 1/3 of a stop more sensitive to light than ISO 50.

Ah-hah! There is one dot between 50 & 100 and it is infinitesimally closer to the 50, so I'm assuming that's 64. Many thanks, Matt.

Even if Kodachrome is exposed at 50, you should be fine.
