[edited to add: Actually, I wasn't aware until the article that your first subject was STS-1 on 14 April 1981, which I saw live on TV one day shy of my eighth birthday. I also saw it launch live. Where I was then, it was kind of what every single person I knew did. I would really like it if you dug out that roll, assuming you still have it, and scan it for viewing as an example of your first experience with Kodachrome. Also, I only got to shoot the Shuttle with Ektar, not Kodachrome, so anything Kodachrome with the Space Shuttle on the frame is always amazing to see. In my Flickr faves, someone shot the nose of Challenger in about 1983 while it was on the tarmac. You can make out that there's writing on every tile indicating part number and so on.]
