While on vacationn I went and saw an exhibition by Romano Cagnoni, an Italian large format photographer, at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, Croatia (Muzej za umjetnost i obrt).Romano shoots a 10x12cm camera he calls "otto blanc" which I think is Czech for custom made. Anyway, he shoot colour film sheets! A rarity for LF artists. His images of Dubrovnik, Croatia after the craziness of war is stark. It's especially poignant, to me at least, at this time because of all the crap going on with Daesh and their affiliates. There are only a handful, but the pics resonate with sadness. If you are in Zagreb, go see.
