Any info on its light emitting wavelength would be much appreciated. I can't find anything online. Thanks.

Me neither. The only thing I can find doesn't make me too thrilled about it:

This seems to be part of the PCB with the LEDs and in particular the current limiting resistors, which by the looks of it are under-dimensioned and heat up far more than they really should.

If these are red LEDs, the wavelength is virtually certainly 620nm, which is the default red LED wavelight. However, what puzzles me is that most pics of the device in operation seem to show orange instead of red LEDs. If that's true, the wavelength is more likely to be around 590nm.

What's the background to your question? What are your concerns/considerations?
The fixture itself looks nice enough. I'm sure it works OK, although it may require replacement of those MELF resistors after a few years.

Hi koraks, thanks for chiming in. I'm looking for one on the S/H market - thanks for providing the link to the pictures where it clearly says varia (not vario as I spelled it) - but needs to be 630nm or higher to be safe for Fomabrom Variant papers. Over the trays I'm using a Foma branded safelight of similar design, OL-31/630:

However over the enlargers I still have a Dr Fisher red bulb that needs to be replaced, hence my idea of replacing it with something more "modern".

You could just tape a sheet of rubylith over this safelight and then it'll likely be OK for fomabrom, too.
