Kilfit 90mm 2.8 Macro Kilar Instructions

I bought a used Kilfit 90mm 2.8 Macro Kilar way back when to use on my Hassy 1000F. The 1000F died and I bought a 2000FCM new and continued to use my Macro Kilar with new Wihi adapter. Several years ago replaced this Kilfit lens with Hassy lens. I still own my Macro Kilar but for all those years I never used its macro capabilities. Now I would like to explore this lens' macro potential. Does anyone in APUG have instructions on how to use this lens on a non TTL camera?

What do you mean use it on a non ttl camera? What do you plan to use it on? Easiest way is a hasselblad to Nikon or whatever slr camera of you choice is

The helicoid shows the image scale. Based on that you can calculate the exposure with the added extension.

Take a reading with your exposure meter as you are used to (reflected or incident) and correct it by means of the corrective factor gained from the calculation.

Sitting with the lens in front of me I was able to figure out the exposure compensation scale. Not as immediately intuitive as an Alpa lens with the little dots nor as straight forward as the scale on a Leica bellows, but extremely workable.will be using on my Hasselblad 2000FCM. Before used Hassy lenses became affordable I used Kilfit lenses, Olympic Sonnar (180 and 300), and 180 2.5 Nikor. For decades my only Hassy lens was a 60mm. The Kilfit lenses followed me from 1000F to 2000FCM. After acquiring a couple Hassy lenses I finally bought a used 500c/m at a good price from KEH several years ago.

I did not even realize the scale was already calibrated in exposure correction factors (I only had a short glance at a photo of the lens).
