Kiev (Contax clone) rewind button missing?

I have a late model Kiev rangefinder camera, has the Olympics logo on it, it is black, and unlike all the other Kiev/Contax cameras I have it has no rewind button on the base for rewinding the film. Can someone explain this to me. How do you disengage the sprocket wheel to rewind the film?

On mine, the rewind is enabled by one of the back cover latches. The one on the right as seen from the back of the camera.
