Kiev 6C aperture troubles

Hello,

I'm new here. I am Jakub, 18 years old medium(mainly) format shooter from eastern Poland.

I've recently bought a new Kiev 6C. Well, new isn't best word-the camera has been never used, but it's 40 years old. Equipped with a Vega 12b.

But it's a soviet camera, so it simply cannot work properly, especially when noone has corrected the factory yet.

When I relase the shutter, and aperture value is higher than 11, it closes only to 11. It's impossible to reach 16 or 22 when the lens is mounted. When it's separated with the camera, aperture can close up to any value, depending of the set of the aperture ring.

In the same time, when the shutter is cocked and the aperture should be opened, it opens only partly, only to 4 or 5.6, if the aperture value ring is set on higher value. When I've got the lens in hand and depress the push by finger- it opens easily. Also, when I use depth of field previev lever and then relase it quickly- it opens to 2.8- totaly.

I've already cleaned it, it's not glued with oil.

What's wrong? How to repair it?

There should be a lever inside the lens mount that presses the pin, It should have an adjustment screw.
It's location in the camera matches the location of the aperture pin on the lens.

Yes, there is- but, if I screw it in, aperture will reach maximum value easily, but would open only up to higher value. Adjustment is needend but IMO, the movment range of that pin is too litle. And it needs adjustments, too.

I had some problems with aperture actuation on a lens. I ended up sending to a repairman (twice) to get it fixed.
