My Kiev-60 has an advance lever that won't lock after winding on/cocking the shutter. It stays free, allowing the film to be advanced with the shutter cocked, which has already lost me a couple of frames.
Anyone have enough experience with these cameras to point me to the advance interlock or know what might be causing the problem?
I fixed it! I will be sharing my original research and photos shortly, but the short version is there's a pawl in the advance mechanism that's supposed to engage a ratchet wheel that has an eccentric screw that limits its travel, and it was being stopped before engaging the teeth on the wheel.
