If anyone out there can help I would greatly appreciate the wiring sequence for the ASA/ISO dial on the Kiev 35A. I had this camera in the parts bin for years and decided it was time to either fix or junk it. The problem was the ISO/ASA dial board was broken in half. So I got a spare one from a fellow online, but don't have the wiring sequence for soldering the wires from the camera to the board. I did do a guess and the meter works and seems to allow the shutter speeds to very for different lighting conditions, but the viewfinder reading just doesn't match the actual shutter speed the camera fires at. Example, view finder reading is 1/500th of a second and the actual shutter speed of the camera is 1/30th. Obviously I have the wires out of sequence. The ISO/ASA plate is under the small bottom plate that's held by two screws. Here a a couple of pictures to show the sequence I have tried. If somebody has one of these that's not working could you pull the bottom plate and check the sequence. I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, when this camera worked years back it had a very sharp lens, which was every bit
as good as any of my Minox 35 cameras. Maybe even a little better?
What I have now, top to bottom, is Black, Reddish purple, light blue/green and a darker green on the bottom.
Thanks,
John
