This is an old one, but not sure if it was ever posted. Interesting how she leads one of her questions....

"I've noticed that the people who started on film still have the ability to see the person in front of them. Whereas for a lot of photographers who have only ever worked in digital, the relationship between the photographer and the person who they're taking a picture of sort of doesn't exist anymore. They're looking at a computer screen as opposed to the person."

Well, I'll admit I've never been knocked out by Ms. Knightley's acting in the few movies with her I've seen, but she gets two thumbs up from me for being romantic about film. I have the same thoughts about a negative - a slice of time, never to be repeated, in my hand.

and exactly how would she know what people are seeing ? subjects in front of my camera seem to be the same whether seen through my Leica vf or D4 vf so I guess she's full of it

and for her to jump into the Great Debate is interesting lol
