There is a new Kickstarter project for beautiful wooden pinhole cameras from Spain: "Handcraft pinhole cameras, patiently made in Madrid". See:

They have have five different models, of which I like the Nopo 24 (pocket size!) and Nopo 120 models best.
I also like the shutter mechanism they've designed (a twist shutter).

I don't know this guy personally, but I ordered the Nopo 24 model (I already have enough cameras for the other formats )

I'm tempted to choose the NOPO24 as well, 24x24mm is at least a new format for me.

How are frames spaced on the 35mm version? Maybe by counting sprocket hole clicks as you turn the knob?

These look very nice. I have a Zero Image 6x6 format pinhole camera, also wood and brass. Part of the appeal of a pinhole camera is that most people don't recognize it as a camera.

Oh I so very much want one of these, but then I saw the price.
Still very very tempting.

I gave up a long time ago on small-format pinhole, even MF. Most of what I've done in the past few years is paper negs up 16x20". I just couldn't deal with the grain/detail ratio which gets worse in the smaller formats. But then maybe I'm doing pinhole wrong and have to embrace the lower detail (I'm still impressed by the detail from a 16x20 paper neg though).

So I'd have liked the 120 model, but it's not much different in size/shape to my Kiev88 (which I've got a Skink pinhole for), and I'd rather something thin and pocketable. If they did a 6x9 in the shape of the 135pano then I'd be all over it. So instead I'm looking at the 135 pano, it's at least as wide as an MF frame (and I *do* have a load of expired 135 neg film to use up), but it's about the size of my Bessa L (bit shorter, but longer) which I've also got a Skink pinhole for but it isn't 65mm wide.

And that 24x24 cam is SO DAMN CUTE I WANT ONE.

Sigh.

Well, it's all over now. Thanks to Toadman for sharing, this looks like it'll be a great little camera (that's a work of art in its own right).
$22k all up, a nice tidy sum for them.

We may not have to wait for long (at least, definitely not compared to the Travelwide).

Got my survey a few days ago, then a personalised message today checking that the other 20 I'd put in was for the Magnetic base (which it was).
I chose the 'Pan 135 with xmas shipping', so at this rate I may even get it before then...

Well, my 'xmas shipping' took a few weeks longer than that, but I'm willing to blame Aus Post for being slow, they are for everything lately.
But good news is, it's here!
First notes, give it a good going over with a rocket blower outside, it came rather dusty. Maybe a wet cloth too. Otherwise, looks great. Same size as a Bessa L, just a bit thicker. Loaded it already, see if I can shoot the roll on the weekend...

Woohoo, received my NOPO24 today. Looks and feels good! Planned to go out and shoot with it, but was too busy with other things. Maybe tomorrow... Here's two photos of the NOPO24 and what else is in the box.
