As part of a consignment of old paper rescued the other week, I've got an unopened pack of a paper I've never come across before. It's Kentmere RC Kentint Gold. I'm assuming that it is a B/W paper with a gold tinted base, but has anybody actually used this stuff before? If so, any obvservations about how it behaves would be much appreciated........thanks in advance!

I used many of the Kentint papers in the 70's & 80's, particularly the Gold & Silver. The emulsion is Grade 3 and coated on a metallic finish or plain coloured base

The Kentint range was great for commercial display/exhibition purposes, it had a German competitor from Pal, that was imported into the UK by John Blishen. Although it's continuous toned it works best with higher contrast images and particularly lith negs.
