Looks very real, actually. Those photos are obviously of those things but the perspective is that of a machine. Doctors and dentists use such imaging to see what is "really" happening inside people all the time.

Now, to be sure, I was referring to his portfolio in general, stopped checking it all as I did not see a single photo that was not heavily altered. And all too same as well. Not to say everyone would feel the same.
