note: I put this in as a reply to the original thread, but as that was on page 4, with quite allot of views, thought I give it more clarity here, for those who like myself, liked the old site.

Yes, the "classic" link was mentioned in the other thread. That's a fairly normal route to switching in a major change, but one wonders how long the old site will remain available.

Note that the classic site does not allow checkout. That was yesterday. I know they're still working out the kinks.

Seems I cannot find Bronica GS-1 on the old version of the site, and I could yesterday. Then I checked the new version - nothing there either (and there was yesterday). It is highly unlikely their entire stock was bought out in one day, especially considering all the lenses they had.

I am NOT going to keep checking the sites in hope they will have something for me to buy. I have rarely seen a transition like this. Usually an old site is untouched until taken down all at once, but that obviously isn't the case here.

No Sale! I know where I can get some of what I need, and cheaper too, though without KEH's famous willingness to stand behind their products. I'm usually willing to pay extra for quality and service.

Hmm, the Bronica GS-1 stuff is back up... and many of the "crossed-out" (regular) prices are now HIGHER than they were before the change. The "sale" price is now what the "regular" price was before on the items I normally view.

Yes. They should have left the old site as primary, and provided a link to the new site, asking everyone to try it and give feedback.

The old site could have been improved, but it did achieve its purpose. The new site is sort of like Windows Vista- fancier and prettier, but functionally no real improvement and in some ways worse.

I think a successful redesign will have to incorporate more elements the old site; sort of a hybrid of the two.

LOL. I've not "seen" that, though have read about it. Luckily my company health insurance hasn't really changed, so I didn't need to investigate.
