I stopped in to pick up a fresh bottle of Kodak HC-110 this morning and when I went up stairs to the darkroom section of the store, I was greated by a big table of (used) darkroom equipment...all of it 40% off!!!

Just had to score a new-ish time-o-lite. The old one I've been using has developed some annoying "quirks".

SO, I got my HC-110, a new timer and a step up ring....and, I even got to check out how those fancy Nikkor Stainless Steel Dev tanks for 4x5 sheet film work!

no hassles, no irritating attitude. Just nice people, and good stuff at fair prices! Just love that place!

I agree with you about K&S - and if you ask about film, or LF cameras, they don't look at you like you just arrived from another planet.

But they are 2500 miles away!

Whenever I'm in the Bay Area, I try to swing by as they usually have something neat/funky in the used department. They're always a blast to wander around in.
