I just bought this Kawanon enlarger lens off the well know auction site. We liked the F stop starting at 3.5 as we want to use it on a medium format 6x9 SLR camera (yes, they do exist). The 135mm should give a large enough image circle to cover the 6x9 format. But it's a bit of a gamble regarding the lens quality. It was hard to find any info on this brand. They made some zoomlenses for Minolta that weren't exactly cheap, but that's all Google turned up. Maybe any of you have worked with Kawanons before? Any idea what lenstype it is? With such a large lens opening, could it be a planar, a dialyt or a Gaussian type lens? Anyone?
