I've had one for about 10 years. It's a keeper. I don't know what the resolution is, but it's plenty sharp. It's not quite a Rolleiflex, but it's close enough for most people, I'd think.
Are they really?! They were $100 cameras (in good working condition) when I found mine. If someone gave me a choice of a Rolleiflex 3.5e or a Kalloflex, price being equal, I'd definitely take the Rolleiflex.
I would not be surprised by the quality of the lens, I have a Kowa Sl66 and superSL, the 80mm is as good any 80mm MF lens I've used. The 50mm on the Kows SE 35mm fixed lens SLR is also quite good.
