When I tone a Kallitype, or any other print for that matter, why cant I use 1000ml of toner, and then pour it back into the bottle for later usage?
All the articles Ive read on toning suggest using a very small amount, only enough to cover the print (say 50ml), then disposing it after. My thinking is, there is a finite number of prints a bottle of toner can tone, so why not reuse the 1000ml of toner until it is exhausted?
Seems like it would be noticeable when the toner is exhausted because of increased toning times and lack of complete toning.
Im using Palladium, Platinum, and Gold toners for my Kallitypes.
Regards,
Martin
