I have a question regarding processing chemicals for Kallitype printing.

My Process is: Develop, Rinse, Clear (2 baths), Rinse, Fix, Rinse, Hypo Clear, Final wash

I am using Sodium Citrate as my developer and discard it after each printing session of a few prints.

I clear the print using 2 baths of Citric Acid and distilled water

Fixing in combined solution of Sodium Thiosufate, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Sulfite and distilled water.

Hypo clearing in Sodium Sulfite and distilled water which is discarded after a few prints.

My question is: how long is the clearing solution and fixer good for? Can I reuse them for a few days or should I mix up new batchs for each printing session?

Thanks for your help.

I use mine for a few days. I have household ammonia in my fix so when I can no longer smell it, I dump it. I replenish my developer as well before each session. I also use sodium citrate. When my stock solution gets down to about 900ml, I'll add 100ml of fresh developer.

What works for me:
I use sodium citrate, replenishing now and then, filtering the sediment that has accumulated in the bottle.
Clear in just one bath of citric acid but i use it for one or two prints at the most.
As fix I use diluted moersch alkali fixer (1:20) , mixed fresh for each printing session.
