I've just purchased my first enlarger, a Kaiser VP6002, and am confused as to whether or not this enlarger is compatible with a timer at all. Does anyone have one or have any experience with one? Are these enlargers actually any good at all?

You can use any timer that can handle the load of the power supply of that enlarger.
The timer is set between the mains socket and the power cord of the power supply.

Thank you very much. This makes much more sense now
