Hello, my name is Steve Nelson, and I joined APUG today. I can not believe I found a place where everyone is still using darkrooms and film, this is great. I am looking forward to talking and meeting people with the same interest in B&W photography. I live in Parker, does anyone else live close?
Hi Steve and welcome. My name is Richard Boulware and I live in SE Denver, near Hampden and Yosemite. I have a complete darkroom facility that is new and always welcome new photographers in our area. I am a semi-retired pro, and enjoy mentoring new photographers climbing the ladder. If I can help you in any way please call me...I'm in the phone book. I always like to get together to just talk good photography.
Steve, I used to live in Denver, then up around the Central City/Black Hawk area. 40 years or so in Colorado. Now in Wyoming. You'll enjoy this forum. Much wisdom here.
Hi Gay, I am trying to work up a road trip some time right after the first of the year, I will let you know the details, maybe we can do lunch or something.

Richard, thanks for the welcome, and the invite. I myself just finished building my own darkroom in my basement. I would like to call you after the holidays, I can always use good advice, I don't know as much as I think I do. I would like to see your darkroom and compare notes. Take care and have a good holiday. Steve
welcome from the south west pacific coast (damn I like saying that), a couple blocks from the salty water and there is about 5-10 cm of snow on the ground with more on the way.
