So, if I am slow getting my enlarger, at least I will be able to process my negatives.

Stainless steel, to roll tank. Now I need to get some chemicals....

Slowly getting back into it.

I ordered a couple of books too, so I could educate myself and ask better questions.....

I'm glad I found this site!

Practice loading dead film.

Why do we close our eyes in the darkroom ????
 
Yeah, I'm not risking vacation film the first time. It has been a while since I loaded a reel. I will be shooting some crap rolls just to practice loading and processing.

Dude, I'm getting a bit fired up about getting back into B/W....

That's great news. It's a lot of fun, and watching the prints come to life is just magic. Even seeing the finished great-looking negatives come out of the tank is an exciting time.

I keep my eyes open, watching for tiny little light leaks which aren't visible when I turned the lights off. They are sort of reassuring. Light is persistently inextinguishable! It's one thing we can be more or less sure of.
 
You close your eyes to make the light go away.
 
Seriously, some of us close our eyes because it helps us visualize what it is we are doing.
 
I'm afraid of dark. I use a changing bag.
